3 November 2026
BYD Sales Figures
BYD sold over 300,000 electric vehicles in October, as reported by Electrek, a new record and more than the US managed in the entire third quarter.
New Models and Launches
GAC Aion's Ray 7 will hit the market on November 12, according to CarNewsChina. Additionally, Electrek reports that the 2027 Cadillac Optiq is now more affordable, and Toyota's Corolla Cross EV was spotted for the first time ahead of its expected 2027 debut.
Implications for Importers
This means that someone importing into Egypt may see an increase in the availability of electric vehicles from manufacturers such as BYD.
