Suzuki has launched the e-Sky, Japan's most affordable Kei-car EV, as reported by CarNewsChina. The e-Sky is powered by BYD's battery, according to CarNewsChina. Electrek reports that the e-Sky is expected to start at around $13,500, undercutting BYD's Racco as Japan's cheapest mini EV.
BYD Da Han EV
BYD will launch the Da Han EV on October 13, with a 0.197 Cd drag and up to 1,008 km range, as reported by CarNewsChina. The Da Han EV has a consumption of 11.5 kWh/100 km, according to CarNewsChina.
Other EV Models
Electrek reports on other EV models, including the Kia EV3, which starts at $29,890 in the US, and the Mitsubishi Eclipse Sportback, which starts at $37,745, nearly $8,000 more than the Nissan LEAF.
